Mid–Senior Java Developer

Location Ireland, Galway

Day Rate Contract (12+ Months), Hybrid Working

Responsibilities:

• Drive the full SDLC, from design to deployment
• Architect Java-based solutions using Spring Boot
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure code quality standards
• Embrace cloud-native tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, etc.

Required Experience:

• Over 4 years of hands-on industry experience in Java development
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot & Oracle
• Knowledge of microservices, CI/CD (Jenkins, Maven/Gradle)
• Familiarity with messaging systems (ActiveMQ/Kafka)
• Hands-on with Git, Bitbucket, and agile practices
